The one-day PROFIBUS Troubleshooting and Maintenance course provides an intermediate level of training covering commissioning, health-checking, fault-finding and maintenance techniques for application on operational PROFIBUS systems. The course covers the practical use of a modern analyser and high-speed oscilloscope to fault-find and health check operating PROFIBUS networks. The course also covers the use of a Class1/2 master to test and exercise devices. The course deals with DP and PA technology in a practical, hands-on environment. Details of the protocol are not covered in this course. This one-day course does not incorporate any assessments and is not PI-accredited.
Please note that the Certified PROFIBUS Installer course is an essential prerequisite for the Troubleshooting and Maintenance course. Those who have not already taken Installer training can take the Installer course together with the Troubleshooting and Maintenance course as a two-day option.
